The Business Board is published by Green8Marketing LLC. This notice describes our newsletter signup and delivery service. You can read our public articles without creating an account or subscribing.
When you request a subscription, we store your email address, signup source, subscription status, confirmation and unsubscribe dates, and the wording of the consent you provided. We also keep records of confirmation and newsletter sends, including message identifiers and delivery, bounce and complaint events.
The service uses a temporary keyed hash of your network address to limit abusive signup requests. This rate-limit record expires after two hours and is removed during subsequent signup activity. Our hosting and email providers also process network and delivery information needed to operate and secure their services.
We send a confirmation message when you request a subscription. Confirming activates your subscription and sends the current first edition. Each newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops newsletter delivery; a delivery failure or spam complaint may also suppress your address.
We use Amazon Web Services to host the website and subscription database and to deliver email through Amazon SES. The newsletter service is hosted in the United States. Replies to newsletter@businessboard.ai are handled through Microsoft 365. Subscriber records are private and access is restricted to authorized operation of the publication and its service providers.
A secure, temporary signup cookie helps recognize the browser that requested confirmation. It lasts up to 48 hours and is used for the confirmation flow, not website login. This newsletter service does not use advertising trackers, session replay or email open-tracking pixels. Delivery records indicate email transport events; they do not establish that someone read an article.
We retain subscription and consent history to administer the newsletter and investigate delivery issues. After unsubscribe or suppression, we retain the address and status to prevent unwanted sending. These records do not currently have an automatic deletion schedule. You can request access, correction or deletion by emailing newsletter@businessboard.ai; we will explain any limited records that need to remain to honor your opt-out.
Unsubscribe links are personal: avoid sharing them. You can also contact us to stop delivery or ask about your information.
